Blank Wordpress-themes ready for 2.7 up for grabs!
I’ve made a couple of empty themes to use when designing, they’re compatible with version 2.7 (mainly those nested comments) and I thought some of you out there might also find them useful.
They’re 100% translatable, valid XHTML Strict and CSS 2.1 (or at least they’re supposed to be) and I’m releasing them with no rights reserved. Use it, abuse it, sell it on Ebay… Do what you want with them.
If you find any errors or have some ideas on how to make them better, please let me know! (Or if you just want to rant about how great they are, that’s totally ok to.)

Hi Anna
I am having a small problem with your template and was wondering if you could help. I can’t get gravatar to work no mater what I do. I played with comments.php and functions.php and nothing, it won’t display default or any avatar. Any suggestion is appreciated. Web is in the link above. Thanks
Thursday, April 9, 2009 at 10:04
Think I got it solved, just pasted get_avatar function to functions.php (the one in comments.php is ignored for some reason?) Just have to figure out how to add custom default avatar now…
Thursday, April 16, 2009 at 06:09
@Igor Yeah, that’s my mistake, the function in comments.php is ignored beacuse it only applies if the WP version is less than 2.7. I’ve simply forgotten to add iit in functions.php, I’ll get right on it!
Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at 10:42
Great, I was looking for that, many thanks.

Thursday, June 18, 2009 at 10:47
@Byron Hmm.. I hadn’t thought about but now that you mention I’ll probably will! Been tweaking the theme a bit since the release also. So yes! =)
Thursday, June 18, 2009 at 16:34
Excellent Anna!
Thanks for your work on this. I look forward to 2.8. Got a new site that I need to theme up. It looks kind of crazy right now with your 2.7 version and just the colored wire frames
Cheers,
Byron

Muchas gracias amigo

I see that in php4 when your theme is activated only the latest post shows in the manage posts dashboard area. I built a whole website locally in php 5 and then once i put it online my posts dont show. 2 weeks wasted! wtf
Friday, July 10, 2009 at 17:17
@dylan What the admin dashboard looks like has nothing to do with which theme you use, so you can take your wtf:s elsewhere. And using php 4 is in itself error proned, since version 5 is the current one.
